Last Leg of Loudon Road Racing Series at NHIS

The last weekend of the season was as good as it gets. Getting together with friends and family and achieving our goals for the season made for quite an enjoyable weekend. An especially delightful treat was having Paolo's mother and father, who were in from London, in the stands cheering us on. John Frank from Jagermeister sent two Jagermeister girls to help promote The Air Fence Fund and provide promotion for Jagermeister. Paolo initiated the Air Fence Fund just a few short weeks ago has already raised close to $8,000 with more corporate donations on the way! So keep those contributions coming. You can donate online at...

Paolo, in his first year as a racer accumulated more points then any other new racer this year. Tony, after a series of crashes finished the weekend without crashing and two 5th place finishes and lap times almost back on pace. Ed, who unfortunately could only race on Saturday set a new personal best time of 1:24 and took a 3rd place in Heavyweight Sportsman. For three gentlemen who started their racing endeavors just 6 short months ago and who have accomplished so much, pride and joy are the two words that come to mind. We would like to thank everyone at Loudon, the LRRS, Don Huthinson, Jerry Wood and Ted Goddard for all of their help with the airfend fund and Steve and Brian at Dunlop Tires, Betty "Blue Nose", Pat at sign-in, the Woods at Penguin Racing School, Rick "The timing guy", Steve Apfland for the tremendous support given to us throughout the year. What to expect next year

There is a lot to look forward to next year including that gentlemen on left Alan Desino, who has been racing with the team off and on throughout 2001 will return in 2002 with an all-new Suzuki SV650, Nick McCabe will be joining us on an Suzuki SV650 (Quite ironic that young Nick works for Ducati). Paolo will be running a Yamaha YZ426 on slicks in the super singles. Ed is reworking the motor on his SV650 over the winter. And lastly Tony will try his luck with his new GSX-R 600 which he raced for the first time this past race weekend. 2002 will definitely be the year to watch these guys!
